Companies?

Software companies can’t thrive without hardware.

Yet a warning resounds; “Avoid hardware, avoid hardware. It’s notoriously difficult to build and ship.”

What if instead, you build specifically to fix the difficulty. Because the virtual world cannot replace the physical. No matter how much we close our eyes, and wish and wish and wish. Our eyes eventually open, for the dreamer must wake at sunrise.

Pause and ponder. What’s being ignored? The shifting plateau and heat seeking disruptors. What’s a better way to hide insecurity, than to stoke the flames of conflict. Prepare the goat, spread the word. Soon to come, the Girardian sacrifice. Oops, I digress, for my mind is filled with this morning’s read.

At some point, the ceiling would be hit. But woe, it spans years and years. Difficult to catch in real time. Subtle difference that glare in retrospect.

The winners once again would be the platform builders. And then a new race begins. Do avoid the obvious problem. It is notoriously difficult to build and ship. For man cannot help but repeat their actions, even while aware of the obvious end.
